All of our wedding cake tiers are baked in 3 layers & are filled in between each layer...3 layers of cake and 2 layers of filling or butter cream.

We use butter, chocolates and fresh fruit as required.

All layers and frostings are made "in-house", using no mixes with the exception of the raspberry filling (imported from France), the fondant & the poured fondant.

Atlanta and Marietta Wedding CakesLayers:
Yellow, White, Pound (Vanilla, Almond or Lemon flavoring can be used for these.), Double Fudge, Fresh Strawberry, Red Velvet, White Chocolate, Italian Cream, Carrot, Hummingbird.

Fillings:

Vanilla Butter Cream, Almond Butter Cream, Lemon Butter Cream, Cream Cheese Mix, White Chocolate Butter Cream, Old Fashioned Cooked Fudge, Cooked Caramel, Fresh Strawberry, Fresh Blackberry, Peach, Pineapple, Raspberry, Lemon Curd, Lime Curd, Orange Curd, Toasted Almonds In Butter Cream.

Frostings:

Vanilla Butter Cream, Almond Butter Cream, Lemon Butter Cream, Cream Cheese Mix(Cream Cheese & Butter Cream Combo), Italian Butter Cream.

Fondant:

Almond, Vanilla & Lemon.

Our process of designing and supplying a wedding and/or groom's cake begins with an appointment of 1- 1/2hours. Saturday's are quickly booked.

You many bring pictures from magazines or photographs. We have numerous photos of our own from which to choose or to begin an original design or your own. We rarely do the exact same cake twice, but often pick, choose and incorporate features from our previous cakes, your wedding dress and the characteristics of your wedding.

At this time we also discuss your favorite cake flavors. You pick three sample cakes to pick up at a later date, doing your tasting at home with family and/or friends. We provide three 7" round 2 layer filled and frosted cakes of your choosing at no charge.

They are picked up at later date, as they need to be freshly baked to truly represent our wedding cakes. Should you require additional samples, the charge is $8.50 per sample. Most brides/families can make a decision from the 3 that we initially provide. We can usually provide you with an estimate of cost at your initial appointment.

A cake of more intricate design or numerous gumpaste flowers may require consulting with our Pastry Chef and decorators, but will be provided within a few days..Should you decide to employ us, we ask for a 1/3 deposit to hold the date, with the balance payable 10-14 days prior to the wedding. At that time, we will check the number of confirmed guests against the number we are baking for and revise or change if necessary or possible.

Wedding Cake Pricing And Delivery
Marietta wedding cakesOur cakes are priced per serving with an average price of $4.25 per serving with the exception of fondant which begins at $6.50 per person. This includes an elegantly decorated, freshly made from "scratch" layers and freshly made fillings and frostings. Any butter cream (except white chocolate, toasted almond and the Italian butter cream) is included in this price. If you wish to use columns, this includes 1 set. Any additional are priced at $12.50 per set. All gum paste (sugar) flowers, fondant, and gum paste bows are priced separately. Monograms (3 initials) on cake are $35.00.

Our delivery fees are based on distance and setup time on sight. They range from $35.00 to $125.00. We travel as far north as Rome and Athens and as far south as Griffin, GA. Our experience tells us that 65-75% of your guests eat wedding cake unless you are serving a seated dinner. In this case, you will want to offer each person a piece of cake and should plan on buying a piece for the total number of guests.

For those desiring a groom's cake...we suggest you plan to serve 1/2 of your guests if you are planning a chocolate cake. A groom's cake can acceptably be served at the rehearsal dinner if the facility will allow you to bring in a dessert. A basic and very nicely done groom's cake will begin at $2.50 per person. 3-d figures and specialty cakes are priced after design is determined.
